Sensors of hygiene: for the control of doors

Picture of Sensors of hygiene
The sensors of hygiene for the control of position of the doors of hygiene model CSS 180, of Schmersal, do not work following the conventional magnetic principle. It is his case, the sensor stimulates a coil of the actuator, that to his time sends a signal to the sensor. Besides, the sensor receives other signals when evaluating the parameters of the same. For example, it recognises in advance the moment in that the actuator goes out of the zone of histéresis and issues a warning. The operario can react before the machine detain , for example when the sensor and the actuator no longer communicate owing to an unfit in the door of hygiene.

This characteristic, that increases the availability of the machine, adds to the numerous functions of additional hygiene of the CSS 180, with his design entirely of 2 channels. It stands out besides that these functions also are operative when they connect several sensors in series: they can connect until six CSS 180 following the principle of chaining ('daisy chain'). All the functions of hygiene are active, even the one of self-supervision (PDF-M as IN 60497-5-3). With an alone module of corresponding control, the chain of sensors fulfils besides with the strict requirements of the Category of Control 4 as IN 954-1. This characteristic saves space, since they are precise a lot of less modules of hygiene when using multiple sensors.
