Nitrogen and oxygen generators: for an easy and cost-effective gas generation

Picture of Nitrogen and oxygen generators
Atlas Copco offers three ranges of generators of nitrogen and oxygen for on-site gas generation. With these gas generators, enterprises can extend their existing compressed air installation to generate its own nitrogen and oxygen. Atlas Copco on-site gas generators range is designed to meet the highest standards of purity and offer economical operation in large and small applications.

-Membrane nitrogen generators: thanks to its high efficiency and reliability, the Atlas Copco (NGM) membrane nitrogen generator is ideal for applications such as fire prevention, inflated tires, cleaning of tanks and pipes and many other marine applications, oil, gas and mining. The NGM uses air separation by membrane to produce nitrogen. A bundle of fibers of polymer acts as a membrane which allows to pass the nitrogen and to infiltrate other gases (such as oxygen, water vapour and carbon dioxide). The compressed air is directed at the entrance and rich nitrogen out of the other end of the generator. Membrane technology generates nitrogen with an adjustable purity and flow rates up to 500 m³/HR - nitrogen PSA generators: for applications that require a high degree of purity of the nitrogen (up to 99.999%), nitrogen (NGP) with technology PSA generator is the recommended solution. According to the technology of adsorption by changing pressure (PSA), carbon molecular sieves adsorb molecules of oxygen in the compressed air. Nitrogen generator has two connected towers that work together to produce a nearly continuous gas flow nitrogen.-PSA oxygen generators: oxygen is vital in processes of the medical sector, treatment of sewage, farming and production of ozono.mbalaje, molding of plastic, metallurgy, analyzers, purge, electronics, storage of fruits as well as the production of food and drinks.

-PSA oxygen generators: oxygen is vital in processes of the medical sector, treatment of sewage, farming and production of ozone. OGP oxygen generator also uses the PSA technology, with granulated zeolite which acts as adsorbent. The result is an oxygen with a purity that is adjustable between 90% and 95% and some flows up to 200 Nm³/h.

Nitrogen and oxygen in situ: Atlas Copco is now offering gas generators in situ can be directly combined with an existing installation of compressed air. Independent of nitrogen and oxygen supply, companies can begin to save operating and administrative costs arising from the supply of gas in bottles and in bulk.
