Modules of wireless connectivity: for plates Raspberry Pi

Picture of Modules of wireless connectivity
These modules, built with Wi-Fi and technology of radius of low power respectively, offer capacity of wireless interface for applications that require solutions of small format, of low power and of low cost; like the mobile devices.

The first module provides functionality WI-FI of high compatible speed with the wireless protocol IEEE802.11b/g/n through a small adapter that connects to the port USB of the Raspberry Pi. The adapter allows speeds of transmission of until 150 Mbps that is thrice faster that the connections 11standard g, resulting an ideal solution for the transfer of big quantities of data. The intelligent adapter adjusts the exit of the transmission considering the distance and the degree of download of the CPU to attain a reduction in the consumption of power from among 20% and 50% when the wireless function is in rest or inactiva. It can be configured using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) providing a simple wireless network and safe.

The second module also has a wireless USB that offers a device of connection “plug-and-play” with the Raspberry Pi, but uses the technology of transceptores of RF of drop improves offering a bisteeringal link with any device that bear communications in series, for example, another Raspberry Pi. The frequency, the bandwidth, the power of exit and the transfer of data can be configured to allow that several devices communicate between them freely, and with no interferences. The technology of RF employee enables a significantly better scope (until 300 metres depending of the terrain) and a lower consumption of power that other wireless protocols such as the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The host can send and receive until 180 bytes of data by packages to other hosts inside his scope, by what is of particular use for the applications of “detection and control”. It includes an integral antenna SMA. Also it is available a version of kit with a dual transceiver.
