The industrial module ED-588 of entrance/gone out (And/S) of Brainboxes is a remote device converter of Ethernet to And/S digital that offers eight no isolated channels of digital entrance and eight channels of digital exit, for setting in lane DIN, and a compact profile (22,6 mm of width) that occupies a minimum space. The module contains a powerful processor ARM of 80 MHz and 32 bits, that confers him a capacity of solid and intelligent control to allow an interface of system in plant. The ED-588 has an entrance of serial port RS485, that can use to connect to the industrial modules standard NuDAM, eDAM and ADAM, basic elements in the systems of control of processes.

The wide rank of feeding redundante of double entrance (+5 VDC to +30 VDC) allows to adapt to variations of the typical source of +24 VDC, allowing other sources of alternative feeding. Can mount a second source of feeding of backup like measure of hygiene to avoid the time of inactivity in case that it fail the main. The feeding also can achieve using the feeding of 5 volts of the port USB of any computer, to realizar the configuration without being in the own place of installation. A function of surveillance allows to fix the independent states adapted for the lit, links of communications of surveillance and surveillance of hardware. The interval of programmable time allows a total control. The blocks and removable ports numbered and encoded individually by colours facilitate the installation and simplify the wiring.

Able to handle loads of current and high tension, the ED-588 is ideal for loads inductivas, capacitivas and resistivas such like machines CNC, motors step by step, heating, ventilation and air conditioned. His operation in a wide rank of temperatures, between -30 ºC and +80 ºC, allows that the device can face up to the extreme changes of temperature in hostile surroundings. The temperature of the CPU and the state of the source of feeding can be supervised through the web or by means of programming ASCII.
