Philips Lumileds Luxeon

LEDs Ultraviolet: they occupy a space of 2,2 mm2 and issue a high power

Picture of LEDs Ultraviolet
The LEDs ultraviolet (UV) Luxeon of Philips Lumileds occupy a space of 2,2 mm2, being the emisores of high power smaller of the industry, so only a fifth part of the size of the LEDs violet and ultraviolet available in the market.

The LEDs Luxeon UV can group firmly with a space of only 0,2 mm to allow the development of systems UV of high density of power (W/cm2). Offering a current of accionamiento maximum of 1To for a greater flow by LED, these devices of high efficiency cover the spectrum 385 to 410 nm and are appropriate for a precise optical control. They result ideals for a wide range of applications, between which include : ultraviolet treatment, detection of false notes, spectroscopes, lighting in the forensic field, doctor and of hygiene, and special lighting like the used in aquariums and discotheques.

The LEDs are based in the design of superficial setting of Luxeon Z of chip invested, that does that the termination go in in direct contact with the sustrato of nitride of aluminium (AIN) of thermal sensors conductivity, obtaining an upper thermal sensors management. The thermal sensors resistance (Rth) is very low, of 3,5 K by watt like minimum.
