Converters dc-dc isolated: compact solution, easy to implement and profitable
The converters ADuM5010, ADuM6010, ADuM521x and ADuM621x of ADI use the technology isoPower property of ADI, to provide 150 mW of power of exit, using less space in the plate that the equivalent solutions. The ADuM521x and the ADuM621x also integrate two channels with a technology of isolation of data iCoupler of ADi reducing the space of the plate until in 75% in comparison with other alternatives. These converters offer to the engineers a compact solution, easy to implement and profitable to satisfy the requirements of data and of isolation of power. His characteristics help to surpass the increasing limitations of space and of power to which the engineers confront in his designs of systems of control, equipment of proof and measure, sources of feeding, controllers of engine and other industrial applications and of instrumentation.
All the converters DC-DC provide regulation, isolation of power, adjustable between 3,15 V and 5,25 V. The ADuM5010 and ADuM521x are certified for isolation 2,5 kV rms (1 minute), whereas the ADuM6010 and ADuM621x are certified for 3,75 kV rms (1 minute) and have the additional certification VDE 0884-10. When incorporating the technology of digital isolation iCoupler, the ADuM521x and ADuM621x reduce the number of components, simplifying and accelerating the design, the hygiene and the efficiency.
