Abengoa Will develop his first project of water in Middle East

Abengoa Will be the manager to tackle the design, engineering, construction, as well as his back support in the operation and maintenance.
The desaladora, situated in the place of Barka, northeast of the country, in the Gulf of Oman, will have capacity for desalar 45.000 m3 to the day with technology of ósmosis reverse, pertinent of one of the exchangers of heat of the system of refrigeration of the existent installation of integrated cheese cheese production of power and water.
The desaladora by ósmosis reverse of Barka forms part of the plan set up by the public organism Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP) to guarantee the availability of resources hídricos in the country.
With this new project, Abengoa increases his installed capacity of desalación of water, surpassing the 760.000 m3 to the day, sufficient quantity to resupply with drinkable water to eight million people, and contributes, with his technology, to solve the grave problem of shortage of drinkable water of numerous countries of all the world, favouring the global development of all they.
