200.000 people will drink drinkable water in Arab Emirates thanks to Severn Trent Services Spain

Ajmán, situated north beside the Gulf Pérsico, is member of the seven emirates that form part of Arab Emirates Joined. The agreement achieved in this zone by Severn Trent Services Spain, involves a greater internalización of the company and favours the position of the Spanish subsidiary inside the group, since the growth of Middle East turns him into a strategic market and of big interest.
The equipment of chlorination that will supply are based in the Main technology Controls that has the world-wide leadership in systems of dosage of gases (chlorine, ammonia, carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide) for the treatment in plants of drinkable waters, waste water, desalación and industrial installations. The engineering and the premontaje of the equipment will realise in the installations of Barcelona of the Spanish subsidiary of Severn Trent Services, S.To.Or., from where will manage the project.
The Federal Authority of Electricity and Water, FEWA, is the manager of the supply of drinkable water and electrical power in the north of the Arab Emirates. This company is the one who has awarded the design and construction of the desaladora in Ajmán to the consortium led by Cadagua (subsidiary of Ferrovial and the one who has selected to Severn Trent Services for this project) together with the contractor of civil work Essa Engineering.
