Interview to José Enrique Vázquez, president of the Group of Energetic Agents of Catalonia and member of the Committee Organiser of the Day Volt

The spirit of Volt has been to present thematic in the energetic field that they are of actuality from the point of view of the user- consumer. In this sense the first Volt tackled the technical administrative – complexity of the development of the electrical vehicle from the users and agents, garages, parkings and recarga in domicile, amongst other. In these moments the remarkable heaves in the prices of all the energies does necessary to tackle the energetic efficiency like a factor of business economic competitiveness.

Keeping the format of sessions oriented to offer practical solutions, tested and commercialised, the aim is to tackle the energetic efficiency in the sector of the SMEs and trades. In these sectors the energetic efficiency has not improved in the last years, basically by the fault of products and specific solutions and for having enjoyed, many of the micro SMEs and trades, of an electrical price protected that had a lower cost that the power in the market. The disappearance of these prices TUR in many of them and the increase of the energetic cost do indispensable the tackle in this Volt the aim of the energetic efficiency in SMEs and trades.

And stand out that in this Volt2 complement the sessions with a part expositiva of stands of companies manufacturers and of services of the sector.

Exist nowadays specific companies of energetic services that they can offer products to this sector of SMEs and trades, related with the management of the measure, the optimisation of the energetic contracting, the improvement in the efficiency in the lighted up and the air conditioning, amongst other. Likewise there are manufacturers that have developed products whose cost allows an amortización reasonable for the volume of power and the economic cost of this community.

Expect visitors of sectors no traditional, as small industrial workshops, restaurants, bakeries, sportive installations of average format, trades and available small surfaces. They are sectors that have a big importance in the economy of our country and that have the need to improve his energetic efficiency to reduce his energetic bills.

For the display units, the approach to a new market, potentially very numerous and traditionally in which the own employer is the owner, what facilitates the commercial management. For the SMEs and trades, the know of a very practical form the how and where can improve his energetic efficiency, with real cases and specific technologies for his sector.

Will present systems of control and management based in simple and manageable surroundings by the own employer, type Web, systems to optimise and manage the lighting and the air conditioning, politics of energetic maintenance and practical cases in SMEs and trades that have applied them, with savings between a 15 – 35% of his energetic cost.

The own Committee Organiser is constituted by professionals of the sector, Regidoria of Sostenibilitat of l'Ajuntament of Sabadell, Grup of Gestors Energètics of Catalonia, the Clúster d'eficiència Energetic of Catalonia, Spanish Association of Parkings and Garages, l' Associació of Gremis d'instal.ladors Of Catalonia, and Gremi d'instal.ladors Of Sabadell i Region. Likewise we have the collaboration of L'Institut Català of l'energia, ICAEN.

Can not answer of form generalista. The big industrial complexes and those that have of cogeneration have attained a high energetic efficiency. To measure that reduce the size of company, in the majority of the cases the energetic efficiency goes worsening, until arriving to our buildings and homes that is very low. With regard to the EU are not in the place that had to, although in the last years there has been an improvement, but there is a lot of way for visiting. We have a low culture and energetic management.

Basically two, in the serious and rigorous learning in energetic efficiency that allow us discernir which technologies and products are efficient and which are pure marketing, and in concienciarnos that the power will be expensive and that the only form to reduce his cost is reducing his consumption. It is possible to reduce the energetic consumption between a 15 - 35%, whereas it is impossible to reduce the price of the power in these magnitudes.

Obviously, in Europe there is a total correlation. Those countries that historically have had some energetic costs higher are those that more have promoted the energetic efficiency. Before it was an option, now is an urgency.

In one of the areas, of form very worrisome. A system of very high energetic efficiency are the plants of cogeneration and there was a future – market very active in micro cogenerations, that in a lot of sectors guaranteeed a high thermal sensors efficiency – electrical. We expect that the reglamentación of the RDL 1/2012 matice or correct the initial interpretation of the RDL.

Regarding the energetic cost, will not be a reason that allow us ensure a reduction or moderation of the heaves in the prices. Geopolitical and economic situations in the world-wide markets inciden of a much more direct form, as we will see in the next months.
