Carinbisa Defends the wooden window like the most adapted option in rehabilitation
on June 8, 2011
A technical conference, held on 20 may in the course of the international construction (Construmat) Carinbisa argued with data and examples that wood and mixed madera-aluminio window represent the typology of ideal enclosure for the works of reform and rehabilitation.
In the renovation of a building, the wooden window and mixed window madera-aluminio joined its main and well-known advantages (energy efficiency, sound insulation and tightness to the water and air) other many benefits that make it the ideal solution for the closing in rehabilitation.
"Allow any configuration in response to the original work, finally obtaining the most faithful replica", noted in Alberto Asensio, Manager of Carintasa, one of the companies of the Carinbisa group, an active member of the Spanish Association of manufacturers of Windows of wood and mixed wood / aluminium (looming). "They allow variation of profiles, in response to the needs of the work, and always with officially approved sections." Any length is reproducible in wood. "With this material we can also take all the additional elements such as ceiling, stanchions, saetinos, barrotillos, etc., as well as accessories such as the shutters, fraileros, porticones or blinds, among others to the window"
At a technical level, the wood is the most insulating material that can be used in a window: most basic wooden profiles are equivalent in insulation capacity to the best aluminum of the market. By the year 2015, in convergence with Europe, values of thermal transmittance values or between 2.0 and 1.3 shall be required in Spain. These are records that the wood today amply meets.
