The jury has been conformed by Paloma Yáñez, treasurer of the Real Sociedad Spanish of Chemicals; Antonio Zapardiel, dean-president of the General Council of Schools of Chemists of Spain; Pilar Goya, vice-president of the Real Sociedad Spanish of Chemicals; Valentín González, member of the National Association of Chemists of Spain, María José López Tendero, coordinator of Nanomaterials of Aidico and manager of the Group of Materials and Nanotechnologies of SusChem – Spain, and like secretary, Cristina González, technical secretary of SusChem Spain.

The work presented has to have developed in the two last years in one or miscellaneous of the following areas related with the sustainable chemicals: industrial biotechnology, design of reactions and processes, new materials and nanotechnologies, and valorisation of waste.
