Fitec, Proma space of r & d and innovation
Proma 2004 report
Since the beginning of February, numerous nominations of projects have been submitted to the selection Committee of Fitec which has analyzed the different proposals received. The formula for presentation to the public of the projects will be very dynamic. Those responsible for the selected initiatives that finally attend Fitec in Proma will have 20 minutes to explain their plans and content to an audience primarily made up of entrepreneurs and investors.
The scientific-technological projects (presentations open to the public) will develop issues relating to areas such as water, waste, pollution, air, noise, energy, natural resource management, protection of the marine environment and reforestation. Universities and research centers present are, among others: the Polytechnic University of Valencia; the Centre of technology transfer at the University of Barcelona, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya; the Institute of Sciences of the sea-CSIC; the Fatronik Foundation; the Environment Institute of the University of Girona; the University of Istanbul (Turkey) and e-chemicalpark.
In addition to the oral presentation, Fitec will have an area with free on-site information points on the scientific and technical services for the company of Spanish universities and research. Also, it will host three training workshops (of aid), which will have as protagonists to companies in the environmental sector (a consultant and a Foundation, a private company) and all of them will be directed to entrepreneurs in the sector.
Be Fitec also made available to interested entrepreneurs a space of contact and meeting with researchers and leaders of these projects.
New in this Edition, Fitec will participate with a selection of three projects to be presented in the "IV meetings of transfer of technology in the Sector environmental", organized by the Association Cluster of industries on the environment of the Basque country (Aclima) within the framework of Proma.
The high level of r & d developed by universities and research centres in the field of the environment, the growth of the sector and the concern industrial by adapting its processes to the new regulations, led the Fitec area to be configured as part of technology transfer in Proma investigación-empresa.
It's the second time in which the Fitec area is present in a competition for the environmental sector after their participation in the Ecomed-Pollutec exhibition (Barcelona, 2003).
