The president of the CEV visits the installations of the chemical company SPB

Salvador Navarro, president of the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV), has visited the installations of the chemical signature SPB to know at first hand the dependencies of an industry of these characteristics and the importance that the chemical sector has inside the business fabric Valencian.

The president of Chemical and Environingingmental Association of the Chemical sector of the Valencian Community (Quimacova) and general director of SPB, Miguel Burdeos, has showed the operation and the configuration of this company, situated in the place of Cheste, that is interproveedora of Mercadona and leading in the application of R&D. The visit has concluded with a meeting in which Miguel Burdeos, in quality of president of Quimacova has moved to Salvador Navarro the potential that has the chemical industry in the Valencian Community like engine of employment and wealth.

The aim of this meeting, in which it also has been present the vice-president of Quimacova, Manuel García, and the secretary of the CEV, Ricardo Miralles, has been the one to give to know the importance that has the sector inside the Valencian economy, since it treats of the few productive sectors that, in spite of the current coyuntura economic, continues with a moderate growth.
