Carmen Watches, exmiembro of the managerial board of Asebio, appointed secretary of State of R&D

Carmen Watches has been appointed secretary of State of Investigation, Development and Innovation, organism that depends of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. Until the past 30 December, Sail has been member of the managerial board of Spanish Association of Bioempresas (Asebio), member of the Managing team of the Platform of Markets Biotecnológicos (that it manages Asebio), general director of Ingenasa, one of the first companies of biotechnology of Spain, and president of Sebiot (Spanish Society of Biotechnology).

His years of work and knowledge of the field of the investigation in Spain him avalan to occupy this charge, since it has more than 30 years of experience in the field of the immunology and virology, is author of numerous scientific publications and patents approved in EE UU and Europe and forms part of committees of evaluation in programs and national and European organisations. From November of 2007, is president of Amit (Association of Women Researchers and Tecnólogas) and from September of 2010 president of Sebiot.
