Washington will host more than 100 companies and Spanish institutions in the 2011 Bio International Convention

Spain will feature a broad representation of the 2011 Bio International Convention, the most important fair in the world in the field of biotechnology, which this year takes place from today until June 30 at the Walter e. Washington Convention Center (Washington, USA). The Spanish Association of Biocompanies (Asebio) have a booth for BioSpain 2012, the biotechnology event for Spain excellence which will celebrate its sixth edition next year and an information desk in the area of Icex to disseminate information on the sector.
Spanish official flag of this Convention, championed by Icex plan for campaign Spain Technology for Life, is one of the largest of all the fair, with a representation of 105 exhibitors (57 companies and 48 institutions). Booth, Andalusia Bioregion will take seven companies and seven institutions; Nine Biobasque enterprise and 21 institutions; Biocat 27 companies and 17 institutions and institutional Pavilion will feature 14 companies and three institutions. In addition, Biocat will also 15 companies without stand interested in partnering meetings, as in the Biobasque will also feature one company without stand.
