José Antonio Sakha wins the prize Castilla y León of scientific research and technology 2010

The professor at the University of Valladolid José Antonio de Saja Sáez has won the prize Castilla y León of science and technology for 2010 Edition. The jury has agreed, unanimously granted this award for the "uniqueness of his university career" and "relevant work in the world of science, innovation and technology transfer, collected in numerous scientific publications of undoubted impact nationally and internationally", as well as "the capture of significant economic resources to the system of science and technology".
Pioneer in Spain in the field of vibrational spectroscopy, mainly applied to the study of molecular crystals and polymers, of Sakha has worked on composite polymeric and metallic materials and plastic matrix materials, and has been among the first Spaniards engaged in research of Molecular materials nanostructured filmsprimarily ftalocianinas, perilenos and conductive polymers.
