Set up the Spanish technological platform of geothermal

Geoplat has a steering group responsible for coordinating the actions of the platform, as well as of ensuring the fulfilment of its objectives. And is structured in seven working groups: deep geothermal, geothermal Somera, identification of resource, regulatory framework, training, international relations and consultative. The first activities to be developed by operators in the sector which constitute the Geoplat working groups will be the elaboration of documents:

· Vision 2030: comprehensive analysis of the current state of the sector of geothermal in Spain and its challenges and opportunities for the future. Two scenarios of vision for the sector will have to consider to 2020 and 2030.

· Strategic research agenda: set of actions with objectives and established specific milestones to short, medium and long term; whose implementation would entail a technological developments in the field of geothermal in Spain, which would result in an increase in the production of geothermal energy in our country.
