Bosch signs an agreement for the purchase of Loos, manufacturer of high power boilers

The Thermotechnics Division of
Bosch plans to acquire the limited partnership Loos Deutschland, based in Gunzenhausen (Germany), as well as its subsidiaries and participations abroad. The contract for the purchase of 100% of the shares was signed on April 7, 2009 in Stuttgart. Loos is one of the leading European suppliers of boilers of steam and hot water of high efficiency for commercial and industrial sector. With this acquisition, the Thermotechnics Division of Bosch expands its position in this market that is booming worldwide. In this way, the Bosch-Group, as a company specializing in technologies and services at the international level, continues its strategy of strengthening of business areas consumption and home automation, as well as Industrial technical goods. The transaction is now only waiting for approval by the Federal Trade Commission. Both sides have agreed to keep the price of this trading secret.
