Javier Carratalá is the new President and CEO of FMC Foret at Spain

fmc foret has appointed Javier Carratalá as new President and Chief Executive Officer of the company at Spain. With more than 30 years of experience in the chemical sector, it will happen in the position to John Leivar and bet on a new phase of growth and development in the company.
Javier Carratalá is Industrial chemical engineer from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona and has done several courses of senior management at IESE's Barcelona, INSEAD in Paris and at the University of Michigan. Before assuming his new position, Javier Carratalá was the director of Peroxigens of FMC in the United States.UU. and CEO of FMC Foret at Spain between 2001 and 2004.
From his new position Javier Carratalá advocates "a new stage in which the objective is to consolidate the growth of the company, with the support of its customers and the commitment of more than 800 employees in Spain".
FMC Foret, S.A. is one of the main Spanish companies focused on the production of chemical products. Founded for more than a hundred years and with a staff of 800 employees, has six factories in Spain: Barcelona, La Zaida (Zaragoza), Huelva, Zamudio (Vizcaya), Villarrubia of Santiago (Toledo) and Zubillaga (Basque country), and a factory at Delfzijl (Netherlands).
