New computer platform to approach the legislative novelties to the companies of the chemical sector

The industrial state of the European Union more legislated is the chemist. The local legislation, national or European influences directly in the competitiveness of the companies and in a so regulated sector, know the last normative novelties is a so complicated task like indispensable. More still when it is not easy to have skilled lawyers in the sector, in opinion of Quimacova, the Chemical and Environingingmental Association of the Chemical Sector of the Valencian Community. By this reason to facilitate this task, Quimacova, sets up a new service: Legisquim. A computer platform that will allow to the companies be to the day in the updates of the legislation that affect to the companies of the sector.

Some contents that cover the general legislation, that is to say that that affects to all the companies of the sector, independently of his activity; and the specific legislation, where includes all the rule concerning each activity that groups the chemical sector (cosmetic, fertilisers, phytosanitary ware, paintings and varnishes…).

The platform, simple and intuitive, has two basic functionalities: it Serves like bibliographic reference that allows to know, in function of the activity of the company, which legislation affects him and is in force. On the other hand, it facilitates a system of personalised alerts by ecouriers, that allows to the user be to the so much of any legislation with effect on his activity.

“Our aim is innovar offering the best instruments that facilitate the development of the activity of the Valencian chemical companies. Given the wide regulation of our sector, through Legisquim, can be informed at all times about the laws that affect them and his eventual changes, making possible like this the taking of strategic decisions keys, if necessary, with the greater shortness and possible guarantee”, signals the president of Quimacova, Miguel Burdeos.

A tool that shows the dynamism of a sector that generates 11% of the GDP of the Valencian Community, and that with 6.000 million turnover, is the 2º economic sector of the region.

“The chemical sector Valencian form it 445 companies, in work them more than 12.000 people, an employment that has kept growing even during the years of crisis”, ensures Miguel Burdeos, and adds: “we Are an activity, very dynamic, dumped in the export and in the innovation. Like sample, one of each four euros that invest in R&D in the Valencian Community comes from of a chemical company”.
