The CSIC homenajea to the researcher Marie Curie

Between the days 13 and 21 May (only working) the hall of the Headquarters of the CSIC in Madrid (Serrano 117 of Madrid), will receive a sample that collects the life and work of the researcher. Besides, the CSIC contributes seven instruments of the period related with his activity, between which stand out two prototypes realised by the own Pierre Curie. The sample includes also other objects like material of laboratory, stamps, medals, photos and books, among others.
Simultaneously, the Monday 20 May will take place the representation ‘Marie and Pierre, they same', in the Theatre Muñoz Dry (Square of Carmen 1 of Madrid) in which the actors will interpret to the marriage through his texts.
Finally, the Tuesday 21 May will celebrate the act homage to the researcher, organised by the commission Women and Science. The act, that will take place in the living room of acts of the Central Headquarters of the CSIC, will have the assistance of the president of the CSIC, Emilio Lora-Tamayo, and the secretary of State of Investigation, Development and Innovation, Carmen Watches.
