Tankisa is a company founded in Castile and León, Spain in the early 1980s which offers services of transport of dangerous goods in tanks. This Tankisa has been checked in its environmental policy three priorities:

• Develop their activities always fulfilling environmental legal requirements which are implementation, as well as those of its customers and those who voluntarily commit themselves.
• Work methodology based on continuous improvement, to achieve a greater interaction positive with the environment, developing procedures aimed at the reduction and prevention of environmental impacts.
• Establish and regularly review environmental objectives and goals, by allocating the necessary resources to achieve the same deadlines.

In particular, the company has set as main objectives saving fuel consumption, through the purchase of low consumption and reduction of the miles in vacuum vehicles; the reduction of atmospheric emissions, with the purchase of equipment of last generation vehicles; and waste management, through the treatment and minimization of the same.

The low profitability in the sector is a problem of competitiveness

In recent months, Tankisa has made investments in modernization of the fleet, incorporating new security systems, and upgrading the image of the same.
