Demag and Wittmann settle in Levante
On 21 and 22 April Demag Plastic Group and Wittmann Robot System enterprises organized a few days of open doors in the new premises of its distributor in that area, the company SIP (integral services of plastic). Indeed, the days were in themselves the opening of these new facilities, from where two manufacturers of equipment for the plastics sector will deal with the commercial work and service to the East.
In order to meet the most recent concerns of the market, Demag submitted applications aimed at meeting two lines of high demand today.
The fully electric machine Intelect of 100 tons was, as usual since its launch, the star of the Conference. Attendees were able to see the innovative techniques of this model solutions, such as engines Siemens of high torque and direct drive to the different axes which, among other advantages, avoid pollutants and complex mechanical transmissions. The same time allows to use traditional elements such as for example, the closure of double knee of five points, accredited by Demag for 35 years.
Another of the needs of the companies dedicated to molding by injection is the produce articles with added value for reasonable costs. This need, which has practically become requirement in the current circumstances of the market in regards the competition, was pleased with the Extra 200 tons, the most simple and economical than Demag model currently produces.
This machine, with a strictly standard equipment, produced a glass of automobile odometer, during the days that was exposed in transparent polycarbonate, a high demand for optical quality. The machine was complemented by a team of IML ("in mould labeling"), assisted by art Wittmann robot. In this way was demonstrated to attendees that the decoration or customization of their products have a simple solution, with a high standard of quality at a low cost that ensures the return on your investment in very short term.
This line was equipped with a system of food of tags of IML's new design. The Non-Stop Wittmann Servo series, is characterized by its great versatility. It allows also the rapid change of plane design to round labels without stopping the machine, getting larger production. The maximum size of the labels in standard is 500 x 500 mm in materials such as PP, PE, PVC, PS, ABS, PET, PMMA, PC, etc. This installation was accompanied by a high speed W-633 UHSS robot, able to handle cycles less than 4 seconds.
Wittmann, also presented important news through their new models.
The W-711 Compact CNC 6.2 robot equipped with servo motors of high speed 3D and CAN BUS system, is ideally suited to meet injectors of up to 300 tons. This model benefits from the advantages of its console programming, which has a powerful software for easy programming through graphical and/or system "teach-in".
This series also offers the advantage of reducing the necessary space to their integration in the injection machine, to add the wardrobe on the horizontal axis, avoiding the annoying wiring around the fuel transfer. Another added advantage of this new series is its low cost. It has also an excellent design spared technologies in their development.
On the other hand, in the new line of compact dehumidifiers, Wittmann introduced the model Drymax C 60-150 PDG, equipped in standard with double power supply integrated three-phase dry air, hoppers of 50 to 300 litres, double molecular filter and a flow of 100 m3h.
You could also see series SP5, a small and bright economic feeder who through the venturi system achieves a performance of up to 150 kg/h.
Among the various models of mills and crushers, highlighted the new model Sumo Minor 1 Vis, Crusher technical of slow speed (27 rpm) equipped with spindle pretiturador. Its low height, less than 600 mm allows easy integration under any injection machine, this model offers an excellent and consistent quality of crushed material free of dust.
Within the wide range of atemperadores of moulds through water and oil to temperatures of 90, 120, 150, 140, 160 and 250 ° C, in versions of one or two circuits, the characteristics of the new XL 90 model was seendesigned to meet the large moulds, thanks a pump 300 l/min and power 36kW heating and incorporating filling and automatic emptying, control of leaks and an accuracy of + 0.5 ° C.
In addition to the well-known and renowned series of flow-meters Wittmann, attention was focused on the interesting benefits of automatic controller of flow Flowcon model, which brings together all the benefits of a precise temperature control of cooling with superb accuracy of + 0.5 ° C.
