Measuring oil vapour: it can detect values of residual oils of 0.001 mg/m³
The German TÜV Nord certification body certified this system conforms to the requirements of the standard ISO 8573-1, lessons 1-4.
Even the compressors "no oil" or "oil-free" guarantee a compressed air really free of oil, since the air sucking the oil-free compressor can contain all kinds of oils.
Normally, any application of compressed air is almost inevitable to contain some residual oil level; but there are a few production processes in which compressed air quality requirements are much higher: food industry, chemical and pharmaceutical, technical industry of surfaces... In these sectors, the quality of the compressed air are of critical importance for the final product, and it is precisely for this reason that it is essential to have a system of control and measurement of the level of oil in the compressed air necessary and immediate.
Directly in the flow / compressed air, the OCV Metpoint tubing carries out continuous analysis of the residual content of oils with margins of up to thousandths of mg/m³ (can detect even extreme values of residual oils of 0.001 mg/m³). This measuring system is compatible with computer networks, has a touch screen and has a large memory capacity for the record of the measurements carried out continuously.
