Explosion-proof detectors for explosives and CO2 gas infrared: unlike other technologies, the presence of the gas to be detected does not reduce the lifetime of the sensor
DiREX X explosion proof detector for infrared technology for the detection of explosive gases and CO2.
They have been designed for use in environments in which is likely the formation of explosive atmospheres for gases or vapours, ensuring a high level of protection. (Equipment group II - category 2 of the ATEX Directive)
They are certified according to the European directive ATEX LOM08ATEX2059 X DirexI X has been specially designed for:-installations with presence of inhibitors or poisonous gases from catalytic detectors – pellistors. Direx X are not affected by these gases.
-Available gases; pentane, ethane, oxide ethylene, propylene, natural gas, propane, butane, methane and carbon dioxide.
-In atmospheres where there is no presence of oxygen. Unlike pellistors, DiREX X does not need oxygen for their functioning.
-In the detection of CO2 by infrared, unlike other technologies, the presence of the gas to be detected does not reduce the useful life of the sensor. DiREX X doesn't look affected by this phenomenon.
-Installations in which peacekeeping operations should help minimize. DiREX X only requires review every 3 years.-displays of loop and sensor fault.-Optical loop and sensor fault indications.

-Programmable alarm optional relay module: 1 programmable alarm level, instant/retarded disconnection programming delay disconnection and initial relay idle state.
