Complete equipment of batteries fuel: they allow to the student know the process of electricity generated by a photovoltaic signpost

With this team the student will study the following process: the electricity generated by a photovoltaic signpost is supplied to an electrolytic cell to dissociate the water in hydrogen and oxygen. These two gases are entered in a battery of fuel type PEM (membrane of exchange of protons) in where the reaction generates water and electricity to a high performance. Some of the experiments that realise are: Characteristics of solar cells. Characteristic curves and efficiency of electrolytic cells and batteries of fuel. 1ª law of Faraday, efficiency of Faraday and energetic efficiency. Reaction 2H2 + Or2 <----> 2H2Or + Power, connection of batteries in series and in parallel, the battery of methanol, etc.

Components: solar signpost, electrolizador PEM, battery of fuel PEM, box of measurement with loads (ammeter, voltmeter, variable resistances, lamp and engine), battery of removable fuel (ref. 13730), battery of methanol (ref. 13735), chronometer, game of cables, manual of instructions/experiments and case of conservation with gaps of dim. 425x301x155 mm. Incidentally it requires water distilled for the electrolizador and the Sun or a focus halógeno (p. ejem. ref. 13547) to feed the photovoltaic signpost.
