Presentación
A mid 1950s a group of researchers from the Institute of optics in Tokyo (Japan) - currently Tsukuba University - developed an infrared spectrometer for their research. The success of such development made it possible for its commercialization, and in this way, the company was created in 1958: Jasco (JApanese Spectroscopy COrporation) to provide to the scientific community products of excellence in spectroscopy.
The founders include the famous physicist Dr. Yoshio Fujioka and prize Nobel Dr. Shinichiro Tomonaga.
For years, Jasco has been manufacturing under license OEM - Original Equipment manufacture - scientific instrumentation for companies such as Waters, Varian, Bio-Rad, LDC, Gilson, Dionex, Beckman and IBM. Jasco over the past decades he has achieved advanced technology and today offers innovative high performance and numerous patents of its own instruments.
