Fitmaq presented to the Latin American market

During the last weeks of June, representatives of Bilbao Exhibition Centre conducted a series of journeys through South America in trade mission to promote this market International fair of machinery of occasion and used, Fitmaq (Bilbao, 1-4 October), organized by the BEC e Interempresas. In particular, a team from the Department of visitors of Bilbao Exhibition Centre visited Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. During ten days they held meetings with institutional bodies and chambers of Commerce and industry associations of these countries in presenting the event and seek collaborative arrangements for the dissemination and promotion of the event among his associates.
Distributors and Latin American users of used machine tools have shown their interest for Fitmaq.
On the other hand, the team from Bilbao Exhibition Centre also contacted distributors of used machine tools and users of machine tool companies - companies identified as potential visitors of Fitmaq - in order to convey the concept of this new fair and know the business of both types of companies needs.
Bilbao Exhibition Centre representatives are satisfied response obtained in this journey by Latin America, both in the associative and institutional, with willingness to collaborate in the promotion of the fair and organization of delegations of buyers, as for business part, since confirmations of participation have already been recorded. The surveyed companies are interested in machinery brands, which have direct references, and appreciate the quality of the Spanish product. However, the price is a critical factor in the buying process, so the used machinery market can offer interesting opportunities. Also attach much importance to additional services: exhibitors to offer support and management in the areas of finance, logistics, transportation and import, and after-sales guarantees, is for them a commercial argument of the first magnitude.
In addition to this commercial action in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, noteworthy is carrying out a campaign through the own network of agents abroad, Bilbao Exhibition Centre and the business development agency of the Basque Government - SPRI - in countries such as Portugal, Morocco, Argentina, Chile and Mexico.
