BASF Invests this year 1.700 million euros in investigation

The chemical multinational BASF is reorienting his activities of investigation and centres increasingly in the market and in the sectors of global customers. In addition to the future development of the wallet of businesses established, the investigation will do particular upsetting in the growth and in the fields of the technology that tackle the social challenges and offer to BASF a potential of notable businesses. This new orientation bases in the strategy of BASF 'We create chemicals', by means of which the company is centring his focus of attention in the sustainability and the innovation like motors of growth. For 2012, BASF has foreseen to increase his expense in investigation and development until the 1.700 million euros (in front of the 1.600 million euros that allocated in 2011). “To take advantage of the opportunities of growth, are systematically expanding our wallet of products and technology, establishing a presence still more global and redoblando our efforts to develop solutions for a sustainable future”, affirms Andreas Kreimeyer, member of the Board of directors of BASF and executive director of Investigation.

In 2020, BASF wishes to achieve some sales closely of 30.000 million euros with products that carry in the market at most 10 years. To achieve it, the company is tightening his collaboration with key sectors and is concentrating in fields of notable growth for the society, like the management of the heat, the treatment of water and the organic electronics equipment dealers equipment dealers.
