CNH abrirá una nueva planta en BrasilCNH has signed an agreement with the State of Mines Gerais (Brazil), with the end to invest 600 million real (almost 260 million euros) for the construction of a new plant in Clear Mountains, in the zone north of Mines Gerais. The agreement subscribed was signed in the central headquarters of Fiat Industrial in Turín (Italy), during the visit of the official delegation of Mines Gerais headed by the governor of the Brazilian state, Antonio Anastasia. “Said agreement reinforces our bows with the state of Mines Gerais and confirms a commitment initiated 40 years ago with the first investments of Fiat in the region. The State of Mines Gerais occupies a notable position in the economy of the country and offers the conditions idelales for the growth of Fiat Industrial and in particular CNH in Brazil”, affirms the adviser delegated of Fiat Industrial and CNH, Sergio Marchionne.
CNH Already has an operative headquarters in Mines Gerais, in the municipality of Contagem, headquarters from 1970 of the first plant of Fiat in Brazil and where in the actuality manufactures machinery for CNH. The new plant, that foresees that it go in in operation in 2014, will allow to create some 2.700 places of work, of which 700 will be direct and the rest linked to the manufacture of components in the surroundings of the installations.
