Good acceptance of the olive oil in the 'Taste of Amsterdam' fair

During the meeting, attendees were able to discover the versatility of the olive oil, thanks to a demonstration of live cooking in which a chef prepared different dishes with oil of olive to taste by the public who approached the stand 10, gastronomic corner reserved for 'liquid gold'. In addition to testing exclusive recipes, visitors also received information material about the European program of the olive oils, as well as recipes and Cookware.
In the words of Teresa Perez, Manager of the Spanish olive oil interprofessional: "After the fabulous reception of the 'road show' in three countries of the European Union, we have come very excited this gastronomic meeting in the Netherlands". And added: "without a doubt, our expectations have been met, attendees have been keen to find out about our great product".
The programme of promotion of the olive oil in Europe is an initiative of the interprofessional organisation of oil of olive Spanish, Ministry of environment and Rural Environment and marine (MARM) and the European Commission. With a budget of more than 16.5 million euros, the program will run for three years, from October of the year 2009 to October of the next year, in Spain, United Kingdom, France, Belgium and Holland.
