Next meeting of international experts in functional ingredients and nutraceuticals

Within the framework of the European network PLANTY, created by the New Indigo Consortium to promote cooperation between research centres in Europe and the India, the workshop is intended to be a meeting point for scientists and experts in the food industry to assess the current situation of the market of functional ingredients and nutraceuticals.

The program of the day includes six conferences to be held in the Auditorium of the IRTA Monells. Later, a round table discussion on the evaluation and certification of the by-products of plant origin for the extraction of functional ingredients and their incorporation into food and feed. The meeting will be attended, among others related sector, Professor Andrew Hawk, President of the Association of manufacturers of food supplements (AFCA).
