The fruit and vegetable sector provides 40% of agricultural employment in our country. In total, generates some 300,000 jobs, including not only those who perform work in the field, but also related to other industrial activities and services in rural areas, such as irrigation equipment, nurseries and seed, fertilizers, containers and packaging. Exports account for more than 40% of the Spanish agri-food export and 14.382 million euros in 2010, the production of fruit and vegetables represents 62% of the Spanish production plant Final and 38% of the Final agrarian production.
