The Extremaduran agri-food sector will participate in a few days in the Czech Republic and Poland

The Spanish Federation of industries of food & beverage (IFLA), with the support of the Ministry of environment and Rural Environment and marine (MARM), has organized a Conference on food and gastronomy, the 15th day of March in Prague and 17 of the same month in Warsaw. Some sessions may participate Extremadura enterprises of the agro-food sector, within the framework of the plan of action for the promotion of agro-food products from Extremadura in foreign markets, this time in which is the Czech Republic and Poland. In this regard, and as it has made known the Junta de Extremadura, Czech is one of the main destinations for exports of agri-food products. Already in the year 2009, the Czech Republic imported Spanish agro-food products valued at 104 million euros, positioning itself in the third European position, behind Romania and Poland. Also, this market is of great interest for the products 'made in Spain': on the one hand, stands as the second European market where most have grown up exports of the same; on the other hand, represents the third world market, preceded by Romania and Ecuador, during the period 2004-2009. As a result, it will start a call addressed to importers, distributors, wholesalers, hypermarkets and supermarkets, shops specialties, restaurant and chef, Department of purchase of hotels with restaurants, caterers, licorerías, cooking and gastronomy schools and academies in winesfor example.
