The president of
AECOC, Juan José Guibelalde, and the general director of Industries and Alimentary Markets of the Ministry of Environingingment and Half Rural and Marino, Isabel Bombal, signed the past day 20 the renewal of an agreement of collaboration allocated to promote the development of the sector agroalimentario. The renewal of this agreement, that AECOC and the
MARM keep from April of the year 2006, will allow to continue our collaboration in seven fundamental areas. That is to say, improve the knowledge that have the consumers of the operation of the alimentary chain; provide a greater transparency to the market and a suitable information to the operators and to the users; expand and reinforce the information on the behaviour of the alimentary consumption in all the fields; improve the competitiveness of the industry and the products agroalimentarios; performances of divulging of studies, works and reports related with the production, the industry, the trade and the alimentary consumption; actions of sensitisation to the sector agroalimentario and the society, in matter of feeding and welfare and finally, performances in matter of relations interprofesionales of quality and promotion agroalimentarias, trazabilidad, labeling and alimentary rule.
The agreement signed yesterday will allow to the business association, to which ascribe near of 25.000 companies, and to the Ministry follow aunando efforts to contribute efficiency, transparency and competitiveness to the sector agroalimentario Spanish until December of the year 2015.
