The wine route Ribera del Duero achieved the certification of Acevin

The certification of the Route of the Came Bank of the Duero already is a reality. Like this they confirmed it yesterday to the media the adviser of Culture and Tourism of Castile and Leon, María José Salgueiro, accompanied of the subdelegate of the Government in Valladolid, Cecilio Vadillo, the president of the Route, Félix Ángel Martín, and the deputy of Tourism of Valladolid, Alejandro García. Like this then , Bank of the Duero is the first Route that certifies in Castile and Leon, something to what have contributed each one of the agents involved in this project: more than 120 partners and institutions.

The certification involves the complete adecuación of all the establishments that form part of this Route to the criteria collected in the Manual of Quality of Routes of the Wine of Spain, a club of product created by Acevin and supported by the Office of State of Tourism and the Ministry of Environingingment and Half Rural and Marino. In said manual define the conditions that the Route had to fulfil to form part of this club of product: system of management, signaling, promotion and commercialisation. After obtaining the certification, the adviser of Culture and Tourism of Castile and Leon, María José Salgueiro, signalled: “With this certification does not arrive to put it, but steps decisive so that the Bank of the Duero was a reference when it speak of enoturismo. The Board of Castile and Leon has bet by the enoturismo, and has done it from the tourist strategy. The Strategic Plan of Tourism of Castile and Leon 2009-2013, contemplates the tourism enológico like an already developed product in our Community but with an important potential of growth, and marks like a performance in this field the incentivar the certification of Routes of the Wine. Thus, today also we can say that we fulfil a marked aim by the Plan and follow advancing in the creation and consolidation of this tourist product”.

By his part, Félix Ángel Martín, president of the Consortium of the Route of the Came Bank of the Duero, stood out:  “Today it is a day to celebrate and enjoy all together a common success: the certification of the Route. We carry years working to achieve this official recognition and want to congratulate to bodegueros, restorers, mayors, hoteleros…to all the employers partners of the Route. They are the artífices main of the project. Today we are more decided that never to bet by the enoturismo of quality and profesionalizado in the Bank of the Duero. The dream already has fulfilled ”.

With this certification, the enoturismo in the Bank receives a definite impulse. In an earth vitivinícola by excellence, the Route of the Wine of Bank of the Duero carries years developing a strategy of promotion of the territory tied to the culture of the wine and the sustainability, promoting a model of tourist management that preserve the environingingment, the natural resources and the cultural heritage. The Route promotes a project that looks for the profit of all the actors involved and boosts the innovation and the desestacionalización of the tourism.The others two Routes that have achieved also the certification of Acevin are The Garnacha (Saragossa) and Lleida.
