4Th day of fruit ecological and biodiversity management

The correct management of biodiversity is a key for the control of certain pests. In the case of plantations of fruit trees grown with organic farming, the use of the useful fauna is the axis of the plant-health control, and is therefore necessary to know the mechanisms for its conservation and promotion.
During the day will be on the natural enemies of major pests that affect fruit trees, how to manage ecological infrastructures to enhance its presence and, finally, will present the results of some exploration carried out in the native flora of the lands of Lleida in the research of useful fauna for the control of pests of fruit trees.
The day is an activity of the Redbio project which is part of the annual Plan of technology transfer of giving.
