The Irta will host the next '9th International course in meat products technology'

The center of technological scientific competence in transformed meat products (CECOC-PTC) made public the conclusion of the '9th International course in meat products technology', which will take place from September 27 to October 29 in the Irta - food technologyfacilities, in Monells (Girona). As a novelty, the duration of this course has expanded to five weeks. In addition, the programme is divided into six modules to pursue joint or independent way.
The international course is aimed at technologists of the meat sector and professionals of other food specialties who wish to acquire an integral formation in the meat chain, from production to packaging and marketing of meat products. In particular, some of the modules consist of more than 50% of hours in practice carried out in the pilot plant of the Auditorium of the Irta-food technology, equipped with an audiovisual system for monitoring of the practical lessons from the inside of the classroom.
