The Irta organizes the 11th International Symposium on digestive physiology in pigs

30 Years ago was held the first Symposium on digestive physiology in the United Kingdom, specifically in 1979, with a European character. Since then have been held successive editions to which will take place this year pig (Physiology) at the Hotel Termes de Montbrió del Camp which will host scientists and technicians from all over the world so much interested in the knowledge of the functioning of the digestive treatment(, Immunology and microbiology), as in those which, in particular, affect most directly to the nutrition and health of this species.

In addition, take the opportunity this year also organizes a workshop, sponsored by Lucta, on the physiological bases that regulate the voluntary intake of feed in pigs and which will take place the day before the Symposium. The planned assistance will be very important as have registered more than 350 researchers and practitioners from around the world, with the participation of representatives of more than 30 countries on five continents.
