Fendt is moving towards a new era in tractor specialists

In the new series 200 Vario has incorporated a new three-cylinder engine water-cooled Agco Sisu Power series, which has been developed specifically for the new 200 Vario thanks to the collaboration of engineers of the Fendt House. The engine has a maximum power of 70 to 110 HP and, thanks to its capacity of 3.3 litres, also covers the segment of power of the current four-cylinder air-cooled models. Of course, the engine meets the levels established by the law of 3rd exhaust gases.
Thanks to the short of the three cylinder engine construction, it has been possible to include the new package of refrigerators and, in spite of this, keep the compact design of this specialist tractor. The installation of newly designed cooling has large areas of aspiration. In this way, the radiator just gets dirty, which guarantees an optimal power of radiator even under extreme conditions of use. The Picoflex engine air filter guarantees a long durability and, therefore, a low cost of maintenance.
The engine is equipped with a system of injection of high-pressure Common-Rail that is operated independently of the revolutions, as well as a fully electronic engine control device. High power injection system is complemented with the external system for recirculation of exhaust from high-quality, called Agrex. Precisely this represents a saving in fuel consumption of around 10% compared to the systems of internal recirculation of exhaust gases.
A totally adapted engine
To develop the 200 Vario, House engineers Fendt met with a challenge: incorporate large tractors in a space technology Vario extremely small. The new Vario ML 70 transmission adapted specifically to the small size of constructive and to the particularities of a specialist tractor. The transmission has only a range of marches and allows speeds from 30 meters per hour up to 40 km/h, including the continuing investor and without wear. The maximum speed is reached at 1,750 rpm of the engine, but fuel economy is maintained. As there are no gaps in power and, in addition, there is the possibility of adapting the speed seamlessly regardless of the revolutions of the engine, the power of this can be increased up to ten percent. Apart from the high degree of efficiency of transmission Vario, notably the reduction to the minimum that has been achieved in fuel consumption.
Driving mode is to be even more profitable, includes the management system of the tractor (TMS), which already has for years used successfully in the brothers of the 200 series. The TMS is responsible for the control of the engine and transmission. The speed is chosen with the accelerator pedal and then adapt automatically the engine and the adjustment of the transmission, so the tractor works always at an optimal level of profitability. Thus, this not only means less work for the driver, but it also allows to achieve a saving of fuel in the practice of up to ten percent.
Cabin comfort
Thanks to the special construction of the Vario transmission, it has been possible to integrate the components of the drive in the case of the rear axle. Thus, with the new 200 Vario, Fendt offers the first tractor specialist with a smooth floor of the cabin.
The optimum position for legs not only is guaranteed thanks to the Elimination of the transmission tunnel, but also to the centralization of command in the right hand side elements. In the area of the feet there is no command elements that might pose an impediment. The steering wheel adjustable in height and inclination, as well as the comfortable seat of air suspension, the driver will always sit in the correct position and also will continue feeling like new even after a long day of work.
Heating and ventilation system ensures a climate of optimum work that incorporates a system of air conditioning. The hot water through the water radiator heating also guarantees a warm atmosphere, even on cold days. Thanks to the conical support and the decoupling of the cabin of the bodywork of the tractor, the noise level is very low. The cockpit is perfectly cushioned against noise, while the engine water cooled maintains the softness of the March to a reduced nominal regime. Thanks to these complex improvements has been reducing the level of noise in the cabin in up to four decibels.
