"Agricultural machinery in Europe will the pace of the economy," according to the barometer Cema

The barometer of business of the Cema (Association European of manufacturers of agricultural machinery, to which belongs the Spanish Association Ansemat) for the month of January returns to show an expectant and small market which, though to be "with the updated brake"It seems not to increase the negative figures. Again, strong regional differences present us a certainly positive image which, in the case of Spain, is not always in line with reality.
The month of January results presented a climate of business that seems slightly back its index, after the real bump that was observed in December, where fell by almost 20 percentage points. At a difficult moment for the European economies, the quoted rate was four tenths, reaching in, still, symptomatic - 17.4.
The evolution of the current business presents very similar to the previous month percentages, which seems to show that the strong deterioration of end of 2008 has slowed down somewhat. The percentage of "satisfied" participants (showing a maintenance of your business), is expanded by absorbing part of those who had previously grown, bringing together still to 72 per cent of respondents, which grew, or at least maintained its figures.
Equality is the common note and thus sales volume expectations remain unchanged from the previous month, given that movements of percentage margins are barely perceptible. The most significant fact is that the rates of decline in the market are still gathering almost to half of respondents (47 percent). This fact would explain why the production plans are descended once more. 51 Percent reduced to six months seen their production plans, something that comes in connection with the employment data of the participating companies in the study which remain fixed employees but reduce, one month, temporary templates.
Stagnation therefore production plans and expectations of business in the sector of European agricultural machinery, with strong regional differences Spain showing some very negative data in comparison with the rest of the eleven countries that form part of the Cema.
