Valtra introduces new models of tractors on the market

Alternate and Direct models are very easy to use. There is a lever of change in the already on its spacious cabin. Continuous transmission is monitored by a lever in the armrest. N122 model incorporates an Agco engine Sisu Power (formerly Sisu Diesel) 44 CWA, the N142 incorporates an engine 49 CWA-4V, T132-T172 models equipped with 66 CTA-4V engines and models T182-T202 engines 74 CTA-4V. All these models have more power and between 5 and 17 percent more even than its predecessors. The torque reserve has increased considerably compared with previous models. All alternate models are also available with extra power for road transport, while higher power models have power Sigma for heavy with the TDF work. The alternate T162e is an EcoPower model of consumption reduced at low revolutions. Valtra and AGCO Sisu Power have been working together more than 50 years in the development of transmissions and engines, which guarantees the good work of the main components together.

The new tractors include series a hydraulic system with sensitivity of loading. The standard flow is 115 litres per minute, but a bomb of 160 for combinations of implements that require are optionally available. Transmission and hydraulic oils are independent. The new alternate and Direct models are easy to maintain, featuring easy access to the routine inspection points. These tractors are going to spend time in the fields, forests and on the road, not standing in the workshop.

New Series T and N, alternate and Direct models are easily identified by their new hoods and rear fenders. The new T-series also has a cast iron frame and a deposit of independent fuel, unlike the previous generation. Number 2 at the end of the model designation refers to the second generation of series N and T. Changes on the outside are not only image. New air intakes improve the cooling of the engine, while the new rear fenders keeps the entrance to the clean car even when there is more clay.

The improved cockpit allows operators to spend long hours with safety and comfort. No levers of change, the cabin is notoriously more spacious than the previous. The upper and lower side panels have also redesigned for even greater ease of use.

The new S series

Valtra has a completely new line of its high-end S series tractors offering contractors and professionals of agriculture more power and comfort than any other series of tractors. The new S series offers five new models of tractor between 270 and 370 HP.

The new series of tractors has been developed in close collaboration with AGCO, parent company of Valtra. The heart and the structure of the new S series are the engine Agco Sisu Power 8.4CTA-4Vand a continuous transmission AVT (variable transmission Agco). It incorporates the advanced technology of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) applied in the agricultural machinery sector. SCR is a system originally developed for trucks by which emissions of nitrogen oxides are reduced by means of the spraying of the AdBlue additive basis of urea in the flow of the exhaust gases. To introduce this technology in their tractors, Valtra strengthens its leadership position in the protection of the environment. The new S series tractors already comply with the emission limits set out in phase 3B for the year 2011. The consumption of AdBlue is approximately three percent of the consumption of fuel, in this way 51 litres of AdBlue tank must be filled when fills for the second time the main fuel tank.

Variable transmission AGCO (AVT) represents a proven technology that offers users of tractors many ways to make their work more efficient. Forward speed and the engine can be adjusted via the accelerator pedal, a hand lever or an advanced automation.

The visibility is good in all directions. Commanders of the reversible driving Twin-Trac system can be adjusted sideways, making more efficient the work in the reverse position. The cabin suspended in the four corners softens shocks with front suspension, and tractors can also be specified with the award-winning system of semi-active suspension of the AutoComfort cabin.

Totally new S series of Valtra replaces the old series S. The production of the new S series will start in 2009.
