Tarragona welcomes the eleventh meeting of the national improvement and rice Agronomy group

Last days 9 and 10 July took place in Sant Carles de la Ràpita (Tarragona), the eleventh meeting of the national improvement and rice Agronomy group. This group is composed of researchers and technicians of public research centres of all Spanish rice areas: Ivia (Valencia), Cifa (Seville), Imide (Murcia), UPV (Valencia), ITG agricultural (Navarra), estate (Extremadura) order, CTTA (Aragon) and Irta (Catalonia), as well as by representatives of two rice cooperatives of Aragon.
At the meeting, the different participating members were able to exhibit the work of research recently carried out around the improvement and the Agronomy of rice in different rice areas of the Spanish territory.
During the event it became clear that the will of this group is the create a thematic network of rice and, in this sense, will continue to work in order to apply to the Inia.
