What kind of clients is the company headed?
Our client is the farmer and your satisfaction is the most important thing, though the ways of reaching it may be different: from companies dedicated to the construction of turnkey, to companies that perform complete assemblies. It also represents a considerable percentage in the range of Rotecna.

We are the world leader in the wide range of plastic equipment for pig farms. Our wide range of products, which attends to all type of swine exploitation, makes us world benchmark for other companies who mostly lack of exclusivity in the dedication the pig.
I also note that we were the first company in the sector in achieving the quality certification ISO 9001: 2000, which refers to the processes of design, manufacture, distribution and installation of our products in 1999.
What countries it exports the company?

Our export sales currently represent 60 per cent of our turnover.
In his view, and in general terms, can compete the Spanish product with that of other countries of the European Union with more tradition in technological innovation?
Of course, no doubt. The livestock sector and specifically the pig enjoys a tradition and very extensive and solid history in Spain and that puts us in a privileged place in regards to knowledge for companies like Rotecna, bet for innovation and technology.
How has it affected your company the crisis in the livestock sector?
As all. We are part of the gear that makes it work sector and if it steps the brake the car is for. Give us a little time to be optimistic and hope that the machine back up and running for everyone.
Has Rotecna taken any steps to help alleviate the effects of this crisis? Which one?
Well Yes, especially in developing new products involving an increase in their efficiency and profitability. This is what we offer to the farmer.
What do you think that you can make the farmer to adapt to the current crisis situation?
You must first be clear in the medium term to where you want to carry their exploitation and assess whether these objectives can be achieved with the current crisis. Then, try to be as efficient as possible.
And the Administration?
The meetings… administration accumulate you crises in many sectors, and this, which seemed somewhat sectoral initially has a global dimension. Not we talked about measures that can take the Spanish administration, but which are taken from Brussels and the powers that move the world economy to change the current direction of widespread crisis.
What are the objectives of Rotecna in the short and medium term?
Follow our line of innovation, bringing products to market that will improve the profitability of the producers. And, of course, in the same way as farmers, improve our efficiency. Only this way we will ensure our future.
