Solà develops a 9 m seeder which reduces its width to 3 for the transport

The Department of the Barcelona manufacturer Solà technician has developed a new model of seeder of 9 metres wide able to fold for transport to 3 meters, and thus reduce its width to a third party. This feature, "unique in the market", among other benefits, has made worthy of the novelty technique Prize, in the last edition of Fima.

The company Barcelona Solà agricultural machinery, for more than 50 years the manufacture of seeders, has developed the new pneumatic seeder monogramo Prosem K-VP. For the moment, the new machine out of factory in two versions. The variant Prosem K-VP 300/12-75 includes 12 ranks of working with a distance of 75 cm. This is "a right version", says the engineer responsible for its design, Alfredo Turchetto, to work with, for example, corn. The seeder, with a working width of 9 metres, is folded for transport in only 3 meters, with four overlapping elements.
The Distributor vacuum Prosem K-VP ensures accuracy between distances of seeds, even at high speeds.
"No efforts or tools"
In addition, it incorporates the Variant system, developed by Solà, whereby the machine can work with 8 rows at different distances. It is enough to vary the width of the work of 5 in 5 centimeters, from a minimum of 45 centimeters. According to Turchetto, "manually and without effort or tools, change the corresponding to the desired distance top and hydraulically opening the machine, are left to the fixed width which we sow".
The other version of the award-winning machine is the Prosem K-VP 300/12-50, which differs from the first in which its width between rows is 50 centimeters. The rest benefits is exactly equal to the model 12-75.

Another feature common to both versions is its "innovative" distributor of seeds by vacuum. This system incorporates a selector album held magnetically, without any joints or wear, which does not require any tools for your Exchange. The dealer, whose camera vacuum rotates along with the album, is "a precision so far not achieved", thanks to a double switch internal and external to the disc which ensures precision between distances of seeds, even at high speeds.

"The only model with these characteristics"
This new machine, "fruit of an intense research work", is characterized by its great versatility in the change of sowing widths without tools and with short, 5-10 minutes time, to change 12 elements. Turchetto explains that the new seeder of the company is "a very practical and necessary machine for those farmers who have large tracts of corn and beet, or other products of similar distances". It is, at present, "the only model of machine with these characteristics", says Turchetto.
Prosem K-VP: a machine ahead of his time
The seeder Prosem K-VP, in either of its two versions, is equipped with a controller of seed and has hectares, which control the fall of the seed of each of the lines, as well as the working speed and the distance worked. Also incorporates hoppers with a capacity of 50 litres each, a manometer, a compaction intermediate wheel of seed, a tip for locating the seed with accuracy and a tube of fall of the seed. In addition, this machine is adjustable both wheel cubresemillas as the depth and angle of work. The seeder comes equipped standard with elements of double disc, tracer hydraulics, wheels of compression with angle of incidence, a disc of planting by element, cardan transmission, four driving wheels in the front, mechanical exclusion of rows and 3 gearboxes with 16 speeds (one for each section). Optionally, the machine can be equipped with intermediate wheel, automatic exclusion of rows (electromechanical) and electronic control of planting.
