200,000 people visit "the best Fima of history"

FIMA 2008 has been the focus of the meeting of more than 1,300 signatures, which have shown their products in the 140,000 square meters of exhibition. The provisional toll of visitor figures is situated surrounding the 200,000 professionals, who have filled the exhibition facilities during the five days of the show.

The 35 Edition of the international fair has served to show that the agricultural sector has great weight in the global economy. Thus, between 12 and 16 February, thousands of people have gone through ten halls of Feria de Zaragoza in which exhibited machinery and the most innovative and technological sector products.

With regard to activities carried out within the framework of the exhibition highlights, among others, the holding of the national meeting of operators of cereals, which has gathered to professionals in the sector of Spain, France, Portugal and Italy.

In their interventions, the experts explained that the current situation across the arable is worrying for the high price.

Further, the machinery of time took his role with the holding of a seminar organized by Famae (Federation of friends of associations of agricultural machinery of time), which addressed the different regulations that govern the old machines. FIMA was also is the venue chosen for the presentation of the Renove Plan for Aragon in 2008, with three basic principles: more efficient, less polluting and safer machinery Park, according to noted the Minister of Agriculture of the Government of AragónGonzalo Arguilé, which has a budget of € 7.2 million.

The visit of the Secretary General of the Ministry of agriculture, fisheries and food, Josep Puxeu, exhibition facilities was well received by professionals and visitors alike. The Secretary explained that the international fair of agricultural machinery is "one of the best fairs in agriculture in Europe" and highlighted the "influx" that has had this year the Hall, also highlighted "the good agricultural year in 2007". This year, the fair had 140,000 square meters of exhibition.

For the first time in Fima held an auction of two products for charity: a lawnmower and a tractor, whose benefits went to Atades, the Aragonese organization of help to people with intellectual disabilities. The central square of the fair was filled with people interested in buying these products and, in total, raised EUR 12,550 - 3,800 by the lawnmower and 8.750 by tractor-.

With regard to activities in the framework of Fima highlights commercial missions meet. More than 150 delegations from 29 countries, which included companies of Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Ivory Coast, Iran, Hungary or Mexico, participated in this activity.

These companies import, carried out contacts with Spanish groups in order to open up new markets and establish trade for Spanish exports.

In this Edition, Fima has brought together more than 1,300 exhibiting companies.

FIMA 2008 closes its doors with the best results of his career and with an eye on the agricultural future. The technical innovation awards

As usual, Fima recognizes the work in the field of research through the technical innovation awards. This year the jury, chaired by Luis Márquez Delgado, unveiled the name of the winning companies, following the work of study and analysis carried out over several weeks.
