Fendt shows at Agritechnica 2007 its new model of Rotary combine 9460 R
November 14, 2007
As the core of the combine harvester Fendt 9460 R, the large rotor, of 800 mm in diameter and 3.55 m in length, get "optimum performance of the harvested product". Hydrostatic drive engine achieved a large increase in the effectiveness, since it works at a constant speed independent of the engine. The rotor is subdivided into four subsections: retraction, thrashed, separation and download. These segments are "perfectly coordinated among themselves" and get "a perfect threshing", as well as a continuous passage of product harvested on the machine.
The new design of the rotor system minimizes the loss of the harvest. This is due to the wide drum of power, with their rods in spiral, drive the harvested product of steadily towards the rotor, and distributes it evenly in the area of threshing. Under the drum of food there is a collector of stones and other foreign substances.
The basket of threshing, adjustable from the cockpit, has a total area of 1.75 square metres and consists of nine interchangeable baskets bolted. The large rotor guarantees a homogeneous flow of the harvested product, as well as "an optimal quality of straw". The elements of old are lined of tungsten carbide, while the lateral part is chrome-plated, which guarantees a long service life.
To download the straw is not needed any additional download drum, which ultimately translates into a saving of fuel. Straw can be placed in a homogeneous row, blend in the mincer, or distribute, also evenly by the entire width of the work area.
Download fast
With a capacity of 12,300 litres, download intervals are adapted to high performance. The new system of emptying allows to download in just 88 seconds. At the time of discharge of the machine, a great help for the driver is also the automatic system of oscillation, which emptied does not begin until that the tube is in unloading.
