The Fendt 936 Vario receives the Silver Award for the design of Germany
March 23, 2007
The awards ceremony was held the last 9th of February 2007, as part of the opening of the Frankfurt fair of environment.
According to the jury of the prize "new transparent design of the hood, the numerous and very well designed lighting elements and the spacious transparent cabin, which conveys a sense of transparency, are the first exceptional design features that capture the attention when closely observed the Fendt 936 Vario tractor".
Ergonomic aspects in the design of the cabin have been incorporated and aspects relating to the driving safety and comfort at work have also been taken into account. The Fendt 936 Vario is, says the jury, "an example that demonstrates how this high-powered tractor not only meets the demands of new technologies by professional farmers, but that also meets the high demands of aesthetics in design quality in the higher segment of tractors".
The team of Fendt is "proud" by this prestigious award. "The 936 Vario is designed to convey a feeling of proper power and modern technology from the first impression." "The design award is a proof that we have succeeded in expressing this sentiment, and that we have done very well", said Heribert Reiter, director of research and development of AGCO Fendt in Marktoberdorf (Germany).
