Water and environmental protection industries are preparing your next trade fair visit

Feria de Zaragoza, between 28 and on 31 March 2006, will host the XVII Edition of Smagua, water International Hall, where the technologies, equipment and more innovative systems for the management of the water will be displayed. As on previous occasions, the lounge of the environment, which reached its 7th Edition in 2006 will be held along with Smagua.

Both pageants are biennial and the international event of reference for the sectors of water and the environment.

The fair, which received more than 24,000 visitors in its edition of 2004, was marked by the high level technological and innovative solutions and equipment presented by more than 1,300 companies participating, both Spanish and foreign.

The latest trends in water technologies, solutions, techniques and equipment for the treatment and management of water resources will be announced in Smagua 2006, a competition leader in its field, less than a year of its Edition number seventeen is already booked almost all the space that will be fair of Zaragoza to the celebration of this commercial meeting, 28-31 March next.

With an increase of 24 per cent with regard to its previous call, in the last edition of 2004 the Hall held a net exhibition area of 25.856 square meters, distributed in five pavilions, which traveled a total of 24.662 visitors1,437 of whom were foreigners. For its part, the participation of exhibiting firms also recorded a significant growth of 17 percent over the previous edition. So, in his last examination took its stand a total of 1.322 exhibiting companies from 34 countries, of which 604 were of Spanish origin; While of the remaining 523 companies from Europe, America 133 and 62 in Asia, and Oceania.

Smagua 2006 and the lounge of the environment have already overcome the growth registered in previous editions because everything moves in this direction. For this, and among other improvements which will be reporting on time, the Organization has undertaken a strong promotional campaign at the international level, that started in September 2004, with the presence of Smagua in the prestigious fair Aquatech Amsterdam, and that has continued with various activities including involvement in IFAT, held recently in Munich, one of the most prominent forums within the sector.

During the last edition of Smagua was demonstrated their high technological, patent in the large number of news that saw the light in virtually all subsectors that comprise the contest.
