BASF MayAgro grants a license for tolerance to herbicides for sunflowers Clearfield Plus

MayAgro Seed Corporation and BASF they have announced that they have signed a non-exclusive and global contract in which BASF grants MayAgro a licence for tolerance to herbicides for sunflowers Clearfield Plus in some European countries. The agreement allows MayAgro Seeds to be one of the first seed companies to develop hybrids tolerant to herbicide BASF Clearfield Plus new line. The traditional system of production Clearfield Plus for sunflowers, developed using a crop of plants, provides weed control improved throughout the season and a greater tolerance of crops during environmental stress in addition to the possibility of increasing the grain yield and oil content.
